Hi, I'm Claudia Russo, the founder of Skin.byclaudia and a licensed esthetician who specializes in acne and corrective skincare.
For most of my teenage years—and still now into adulthood—I've struggled with acne. It wasn't just about breakouts; it affected my confidence. I hid behind makeup, relied on filters, and spent years trying to cover what I thought were my flaws because I couldn't see the beauty within myself.
Like many people struggling with acne, I tried everything. Every drugstore product that promised clear skin, countless dermatologist visits, prescription creams, and medications. No matter what I tried, nothing seemed to give me lasting results. I was frustrated, discouraged, and constantly searching for answers.
Instead of continuing to chase quick fixes, I chose to understand why. I immersed myself in the science behind skincare, learning how the skin functions, how ingredients work, and how factors like hormones, inflammation, and the skin barrier all play a role in skin health. That passion for understanding my own skin became the foundation of my career.
I created Skin.byclaudia because I wanted to be the person I needed during my own skin journey. A place where people feel heard, supported, and educated. Not judged.
Most importantly, I built this business on one belief: your skin doesn't need fixing, and neither do you.
My goal is to make you feel at home in your own skin, build personalized treatments, and guide you towards a better understanding of confidence in the beauty that’s already yours.
